The last day of the school year is often a students favorite day. This particular final day was extra special but not for the students. This incredible teacher spent 50 years at the same school! After starting off as an English teacher at age 22 she walked the halls one last time. The entire school lined the halls and cheered her on as she left one last time.
Anthony Ray Hinton spent nearly 30 years on Alabama’s death row for a crime he did not commit. When acclaimed civil rights attorney Bryan Stevenson was assigned his case, they spent 16 years fighting before winning a unanimous reversal of his case in the United States Supreme Court.
